The PVW-2800 features built-in TBC, built-in TC generator/reader, full editing control facility, 90 min record/playback and 24 times picture search. It has RS-422 remote interface, component video input/output along with composite and S-video input/output. It records on metal particle tape and will playback any Betacam or Betacam SP recorded tape
SONY PVW-2600
Part of the affordable Betacam SP 2000 PRO series, the PVW2600 is a versatile editing player that is easy to integrate with the BVW series of products and peripherals as well as other editing systems. Featuring built-in TBC, built-in TC reader, 24 times picture search, RS-422 remote interface, Y/C output and component video (Y, R-Y, B-Y) outputs, the PVW2600 combines superior picture performance with flexibility and control. In addition, it will playback Betacam or Betacam SP recorded tapes, with playback times over 90 minutes.
SONY UVW-1800
With built-in time code generator/reader, time base corrector and high-speed picture search, it provides frame accurate editing and consistent picture quality. The UVW1800 also features 90 minute playback/record, RS-422A remote interface, composite input/output, Y/C composite input/output and component (Y, R-Y, B-Y) input/output. It is an ideal deck for creating Betacam SP dub from DVCAM VTRs equipped with component video output, and is an economical way to build a superior editing system.
